Aptivate Educational and Psychological Solutions, LLC is a full-service company offering a one-stop shop to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of youth through assessment and evaluation, intervention and treatment, instruction and guidance, and consultation, counseling, and collaboration. Similar to the school psychology background of the company’s founder, Dr. Amber Mason, Aptivate will provide services that span across two fields vital to youth development: education and psychology.
On one hand, Aptivate touts the tenets of a clinical psychology private practice specializing in psychological and psychoeducational evaluation, psychotherapy, social skills training, and clinical consultation. On the other hand, Aptivate is an educational consulting and services firm that provides home- and school-based services, including educational consultation and advocacy, academic tutoring and test preparation, academic skills training (e.g., executive functioning and study skills), college and career counseling, and speech-language evaluation and therapy. Services are currently offered virtually and in-person in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (Alexandria, VA).
